Watch D.O.G.S Volunteer Process

The PTA is excited to kick off another great year of Watch D.O.G.S (Dads of Great Students).  There has been a change to our volunteer training process.  All Watch D.O.G.S must watch the volunteer training video online and complete a background check before volunteering.  The steps to this process are outlined below.

Step 1:  Watch the volunteer video found on the RHE website http://rhe.lsr7.org/.  Go to the “parents” drop down and click on volunteers.  The video lasts under 6 minutes and ends with a form to fill out.  This form gives us a record that you have completed the training.

*The online training must be completed before moving to the other steps.

Step 2:  Print out the background check at the end of the video.

Step 3:  Bring the background check with a photo I.D. to the school or Stansberry Leadership Center.  For your convenience, if you have completed steps 1 and 2, you can bring your background check form and I.D. to the Watch D.O.G.S. kick off meeting where someone will be able to copy your I.D. and collect your background check form. Background checks can take up to two weeks.  So completing these steps before the kick-off meeting will ensure you are able to come to school on the day you have signed up for.

Step 4:  Attend the Watch D.O.G.S. kick off on Monday, September 25 at 6:00 to learn more about the program, eat pizza with your child/children, and sign up for a day to volunteer!
